A federal officer has shot a second person in Minneapolis, just days after Trump immigration hawk Stephen Miller told ICE agents that they have \u201cfederal immunity\u201d to act as they like \u2014 and that anyone obstructing them will face prosecution from the federal government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a Fox News<\/em> segment shared<\/a> by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on X, Miller falsely said that it was a \u201cfelony\u201d to obstruct or even so much as touch an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer while they\u2019re on duty. He repeated claims like Vice President JD Vance\u2019s assertion that officers are \u201cprotected by absolute immunity\u201d that have<\/a> been roundly debunked<\/a> by legal experts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnybody who lays a hand on you or tries to stop you or tries to obstruct you is committing a felony. You have immunity to perform your duties, and no one \u2014 no city official, no state official, no illegal alien, no leftist agitator or domestic insurrectionist \u2014 can prevent you from fulfilling your legal obligations and duties,\u201d Miller said.<\/p>
