Renee Nicole Good\u2019s tragic murder in Minneapolis at the hands of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent has become a turning point in the criminalization<\/a> of community-based resistance to the Trump administration\u2019s campaign of neo-fascist state repression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vice President JD Vance has gone so far as to lionize<\/a> Good\u2019s alleged killer, and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem<\/a> has scrambled to demonize Good, accusing her of having engaged in an act of \u201cdomestic terror\u201d because of her support for her immigrant neighbors who were being targeted by ICE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In reality, the murder of Good should best be understood as a public extrajudicial execution<\/a> \u2014 an action that is deemed a crime against humanity<\/a> under international law. <\/p>
